The photoelectric smoke detector is a smoke alarm and transmitter. When smoke is detected the smoke alarm will sound for 20 seconds. If after the 20 seconds the alarm is not turned off, or smoke is still present the detector will notify your 2400B Medical and Personal reporting system to call the central station for dispatch.
